About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Package Director β Greenfield Signalling to lead the delivery of major greenfield signalling packages within the ETCS Sector 1 North Project.
This is a senior Delivery Role responsible for driving outcomes across key signalling packages within a transformative ETCS Level 2 rail program.
Role Overview
You will be accountable for leading the S1N Greenfield Signalling packages, including the Elimbah Pilot Line (SP1), The Wave package Beerwah to Caloundra (SP4), and The Wave package Caloundra to Birtinya (SP5). You will ensure outputs are ready for Systems Integrator use and subsequent Queensland Rail service testing outcomes, while driving delivery to time and cost targets and aligning outcomes with The Wave and Queensland Rail objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and overseeing project management, technical, commercial and contractual inputs to achieve target program.
Direct strategy, scope, phasing and logistics across B2C/C2B/Pilot, and aligning interfacing projects with ETCS / DRS.
Provide leadership over vendor contract management, ensuring suppliers deliver to agreed technical, schedule, safety and commercial obligations as they relate to The Wave greenfield.
Oversee ETCS contract management forums, performance reviews, commercial negotiations, change control, and escalation pathways as they relate to The Wave greenfield.
Influence "best-for-program" outcomes and behaviours across the ETCS L2 program.
Establish and maintain the package-specific Interface Management Plan and interface registers; align with configuration baselines and assurance gates.
Ensure commercial frameworks reinforce integration behaviours and deliverables (PCA, interface agreements).
Provide transparent, executive-level status, risk and decision reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
You will report to the S1N ETCS Project Director and work closely with the Package Director (Brownfield Signalling), Package Director (Trackside Solution), ETCS and DRS technical and delivery teams, The Wave project, Queensland Rail, key stakeholders, and delivery partners.
As part of TMRβs broader rail portfolio, this role also requires collaboration across other projects from time to time, including sharing lessons learned and promoting a consistent, integrated, and respectful approach to rail delivery.
About You
10+ yearsβ relevant demonstrated experience in related roles overseeing major rail infrastructure projects valued at more than $250 million
Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Strong technical knowledge of rail systems, signalling, and ETCS is desirable
Strong commercial, contractual, and delivery leadership capability
Critical Behavioural Skills

Drives accountability and outcomes on the project and makes insightful decisions
Provides well-considered and well-documented advice to senior leadership and peers

Leads the package team to perform at a consistently high level, with consideration for project culture and objectives
